LYNN – Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll held the first event of their Housing Campaign by standing with municipal leaders from across the state to highlight the ways in which increasing housing production will help municipalities meet the needs of their residents. Over the next few weeks, the administration will host events across the state to call attention to the urgent need to lower housing costs across Massachusetts and the ways in which the high cost of housing impacts everyday life.  Watch the entire event below.

Danvers DPW – Did you know that it’s Drinking Water Week? This week, we’re shining a spotlight on the dedicated professionals who work to ensure that our taps flow with quality water each day. It’s easy to take for granted, but we owe a debt of gratitude to those who work behind the scenes.

Dianna DiZolglioTeams were out yesterday in North Andover & Acton collecting signatures. I got the treat of running into former State Rep Donna Cuomo – the first woman to hold the seat that I would someday be elected to. Thank you for the bi-partisan support, and to all who signed!

After battling it out for almost four hours and 12 innings Friday night in Gloucester, the Magicians and the Fisherman went at it again today.

With some solid pitch from Senior Matt Mahan (4 innings) who got the win and Junior Carter Sahagian (3 inning save) the Magicians were able to come out on top. The Magicians grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first but gave one back in the 2nd. In the bottom of the fourth the Magician added two more and then got three big ones in the 6th. Timely hitting and solid pitching have been the key. The Magicians will not host Masco, Tuesday afternoon.  The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday but was moved up with weather coming in.

The Magicians are now 8-4 overall and 6-3 in league play.
