Men’s College Hockey 

Endicott 4, Suffolk 2 – In goal, Ryan Wilson (Shelton, Conn.) made 22 saves to improve to 8-2-2 on the season. Endicott (14-5-5, 11-3-3 CCC) visits Nichols on Friday, February 16 at 5:40 PM.


UMASS Dartmouth 5, Salem State 2 – The Corsairs improve to 14-9-0, 12-7-0 while the Vikings drop to 6-16-1, 6-12-1.The Vikings will be looking to bounce back this Thursday, February 15th, as they finish their regular season on a two-game home stand. They will welcome Worcester State to the Rockett Arena for a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference game (MASCAC) game. Puck drops at 7 p.m.


Women’s College Hockey

New England College 6, Salem State 2– The Pilgrims go to 7-18-0, 2-16-0 while the Vikings finish their campaign with a record of 5-18-2, 2-14-2. After the game coach Ray Kizzie reflected on the 2023-24 season. “For me coming out here I only had three skates with the team and we just went into it right away… definitely a lot of learning moments, a lot of growing pains and a lot of things to walk away from better in moving forward.”


Endicott 4, Suffolk 1 – Quin Healy (Melrose) capitalized on an early power play opportunity for the Gulls, scoring at the 11:07 mark of the first period. Moments later, Teaghan Hall (West Springfield) potted her 11th tally of the season to give the Gulls a 2-0 lead in the opening period. After a late Suffolk first period goal cut Endicott’s lead in half, Healy found the net once more, handing the Gulls a 3-1 lead in the second. Endicott put the nail in the coffin in the third, as Rivers Morris (Braintree, Mass.) notched a goal at the 8:21 mark, locking down the 4-1 win for the Blue and Green. In net, Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) turned away 21 of 22 Suffolk shots in the contest and improved to 15-4-2 on the season. No. 11 Endicott (17-4-2, 14-2-0 CCC) welcomes Nichols College on Friday, February 16 for a 7:00 PM puck drop.


Men’s College Basketball

Worcester State 103, Salem State 99 (OT) – Worcester’s Aaron Nkrumah  led all scorers with 41 points, SSU was led by Jaden Castillo – with 36 points. SSU plays at Fitchburg State on Wednesday.


Endicott 85, New England 78 (OT) – Jalen Echevarria (Lynn.) paced all scorers with a career-high-tying 35 points (14-22 FG, 3-8 3PT, 4-4 FT). Off the bench, Liam Dunfee (Nahant) contributed 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-2 FT) and seven rebounds, while Drew Brown (Pelham, N.H.) notched eight points and a career-high nine rebounds. Elijah Kinney (Nashville, Tenn.) rounded out the list of individual highlights with nine points, four rebounds, and a steal. Endicott (15-8, 9-5 CCC) travels to Curry on Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30 PM.


Women’s College Basketball

Salem State 82, Worcester 73 –  Salem State women’s basketball notched their second win of the week after defeating Worcester State in Saturday’s Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) victory improved the Vikings record to 11-12 on the season and 4-6 in MASCAC play. Kylie Gates (Pembroke.) exploded for 27 points to go along with eight assists and seven rebounds while Ernidia Goncalves (Everett) added 21 points for the Vikings in the victory. The Vikings are back on the road this Wednesday, February 14 as they travel to Fitchburg State University to take on the Falcons for a 5p.m. tipoff.


Western New England 61, Endicott 56 – Sarah Dempsey (Windham, N.H.) led all scorers with 24 points (9-18 FG, 0-1 3PT, 6-8 FT) alongside a game-high-tying seven rebounds. Emma Shinney (Wakefield) contributed nine points, six rebounds, and seven assists, while Cora Nadeau (Newport, Vt.) matched her teammate in the scoring column over 22 minutes of action. Endicott (12-10, 7-7 CCC) visits Curry on Wednesday, February 14 at 5:30 PM.
