City of Newburyport to Host Holiday Invitation Nights

NEWBURYPORT — Mayor Donna D. Holaday and the City of Newburyport invite all community members to Holiday Invitation Nights on Fridays throughout December.

December 2, 9, and 16 from 6 to 9 p.m.

WHERE

Downtown Newburyport & The Tannery Marketplace

WHAT

Newburyport officials invite residents to experience Newburyport during the holidays with three Holiday Invitation Nights. Enjoy merchant hospitality, live entertainment, shopping and dining as the city embraces the spirit of the holidays.

Live performances for each night are as follows:

Dec. 2: Inn Street Music; Newburyport High School Students Band
Dec. 9: Hope Church; Newburyport High School Students Band
Dec. 16: Greater Newburyport Children’s Chorus; Newburyport High School Students Band

“We invite and encourage all residents to celebrate the holidays by supporting local businesses throughout Newburyport,” Mayor Holaday said. “There will be festivities and entertainment for all ages!”


 


Gloucester Fire to Host Blood Drive in Honor of Local Firefighter

GLOUCESTER— Chief Eric Smith is pleased to announce that the Gloucester Fire Department and Addison Gilbert Hospital are hosting a blood drive to honor local firefighter Jason LoCoco.

Gloucester Fire Department and Addison Gilbert Hospital encourage community members to attend the 3rd annual blood drive in honor of Jason LoCoco, a Gloucester firefighter injured and recovering from a serious motorcycle accident.

All presenting donors will receive a coupon for Seaport Grille.
