MIDDLETON – (Radio & Photos) Essex County Sheriff Kevin F. Coppinger, in office for four months, shares in a radio interview several initiatives that he and his new team are implementing to improve services at the sheriffs office. His department has started work on implementing both a financial and an operational audit. In the interview Sheriff Coppinger discusses inmate programming, re-entry issues, immigration concerns, and his new role with the Essex County Police Chiefs Association. Coppinger, the former City of Lynn Police Chief, attended the police chief’s monthly meeting today.
