LYNN – (Radio) Lynn English quarterback Matt Severance threw for two touchdown passes to Prince Brown and also ran for two touchdowns in Saturday’s 26-20 Lynn English win over Beverly High School. Beverly was led by quarterback Nick Berry who threw a 74 yard pass to Clark Marchand and 12 yard pass to Ameer Alshrafi. Clayton McAllpine scored Beverly’s third touchdown on a 10 yard run in the 4th quarter. Lynn English led in the second quarter by a 20-0 margin before Beverly mounted their comeback attempt. Next games: Lynn English (1-0) travels to Somerville while Beverly (0-1) plays in Gloucester (1-0) Friday night in an MSO live video broadcast game.
