GLOUCESTER – (Radio) Gloucester Mayor Sefatia Romeo-Theken worked through the weekend, coordinating with the Gloucester Harbormaster in an attempt to secure two barges that broke loose in the harbor and in a continuing attempt to dispose of the remains of a fishing boat that sank off Niles Beach. The cleanup of the fishing vessel will continue for at least the next few days. The Mayor also recently re-hired former Chief Administrative Officer Jim Destino to that post and had high praise for her staff, the Gloucester Police Department, and the citizens of the city.
