Ipswich Track Results – At the State Indoor track championships last night the Ipswich girls placed 14th overall out of over 80 schools. The girls, 4 x 400 relay team of Amelia Mooradd, Soren Shearer, Lucy Winthrop , and Lily Harper placed fourth overall with a season best time of 4:15.59. Lucy Winthrop placed fifth in the 1000 meters with the career best time of 3:08.97, Mary Love placed sixth in the two mile with a career best time of 12:09.32, and Stella Whitten took seventh in the 600 meters with a career best time of 1:42.47. The girls 4×800 relay team of Stella Whitten, Brooke Soininen, Alana Novello, and Mary Love placed 8th overall, and Una Whyte took 10th in the 300 meters.

 For the boys, Ange Tshimbambe ran a career best in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.79, and Peter Joss-Green ran a career best time of 1:30.93 in the 600 meters.
