Hamilton-Wenham 3 Ipswich 1 – Comments from HW coach Nancy Waddell, “The Generals got on the board in the 28th minute when senior Erin O’Shea put in a shot from outside the box.  This was O’Shea’s eighth goal of the season.  She has scored a goal in each of the last six games.  The Tigers got one back just two minutes later when HW was called for a handball in the box.

The Generals picked up their play in the second half.  Sophomore Jordan Story scored off an assist from senior Cate Pasquarello five minutes into the second half.  The Generals continued to dominate earning a total of 10 corner kicks to one for Ipswich.  Junior Eliza Campbell was thwarted on breakaways multiple times by strong Tiger goaltending.  Finally with eleven minutes remaining, Campbell scored to wrap things up for the Generals.” The Generals (3-7-2) play at Manchester-Essex on Thursday.
