Later this month north shore high school football teams will begin workouts for the start of the 2026 season in early September. The Daily Item of Lynn is reporting today that Lynn Tech football has a unique schedule this season. The Tiger’s first six games of the season are road games. Their first home game will be October 30th against Nashoba Tech.
Two area boys hockey teams have hired new coaches. Beverly has hired Vin Mirasolo while Gloucester has hired Marc Santuccio.
The Red Sox were off last night. Tonight they open a series at home against the Chicago White Sox. Game time 7:10 p.m.
