Coach’s Comments:

While it is tough to lose such a close meet, the work that this team has done over the summer was evident in this meet. Especially Anna Jones (Sophomore) who ran her best race ever, in the first meet of the year. Then having Nad, Rayna, and Annika who ran times today that were very close to their best times of last season. And then to have Hannah and Madeleine stepping into their first cross country races and right away contributing on a varsity level was amazing. I would say none of that is possible if they were not doing what they needed to do over the summer to be ready for today. I’m very proud of each and everyone of the runners today and they certainly set a great tone for the season.
