Peabody Police – There has been another bear sighting in the W Peabody area near the bike path and Glen Drive. We have searched the area & are unable to locate the animal. We suggest that you make sure you cover your trash barrels, take in bird feeders and do not engage with or approach the bear.

Lynn Police – ROAD CLOSURE: Work on the Commercial St. bridge is scheduled to begin on Friday, Sept. 16th at 8 p.m. and continue thru the weekend until Monday, Sept. 19th at 6 a.m. Commercial St. in this area will be CLOSED to all traffic. Please seek alternate routes.
