In high school tournament sports –
Baseball…Georgetown plays in the Division 5 title game tomorrow afternoon against English High at Polar Park in Worcester at 4 p.m.
Softball…Georgetown lost 9-6 yesterday in the D4 state semifinals.
Girls Lacrosse
Ipswich meets Sandwich today for the Division 4 title at Wellesley at 4:30. Ipswich has been to the championship game 3 out of the last 4 years.
Boys Tennis
Wayland took out Newburyport 4-1 yesterday in the D3 semifinal
Hamilton-Wenham shoots for a division 4 state title Saturday against Mystic Valley.
Girls Tennis
Dover Sherborn edged Swampscott 3-2 yesterday in a D3 semifinal match-up.
In D4, Hamilton-Wenham topped Bromfield 3-2 and will now play Manchester-Essex for the state title on Saturday. The generals are four time defending state champions.
In coaching news, Gloucester is seeking a girls varsity soccer coach for the fall season.
The Rays beat the Red Sox 7-5 yesterday as the Sox lost all three games this week against the Rays. The Red Sox are off tonight, tomorrow night they host Texas.

Girls Tennis: FINAL – The Hornets defeat Ipswich and advance to the MIAA D4 State Championship for the second year in a row! They will face the winner of Hamilton-Wenham and Bromfield on Saturday, June 13 at MIT. Time TBA. Way to go, Hornets!
