GLOUCESTER – (Video)  Every summer “Ringo” Tarr and his brothers, Brian and Bruce, fix hundreds of Amercian flags to the railings along Gloucester’s waterfront Boulevard.  But, every November, the brothers travel to Nova Scotia to pick up the city Christmas tree, and then make sure it is ready to be lighted the day of the Gloucester Christmas parade.

Senator Bruce Tarr, his brothers “Ringo” and Brian, and a host of volunteers were all at Kent Circle today putting the final touches on the Christmas decorations that adorn the tree and the rest of the WWII Memorial Park area.  Below, Senator Tarr explains the weekend activities.
