Police arrested the suspect in the fatal shooting in Peabody.
Charles Burgess, 26, of Peabody will be arraigned for murder in Peabody District Court.
Peabody Police responded to 78 Wallis Street at approximately 9:41 last evening for a reported shooting. They found the victim, Prince Thompson, 25, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Salem Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
