Suffolk Edges Men’s Basketball, 86-82

BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott men’s basketball team fell late to Suffolk University, 86-82, in conference play on Saturday evening at Smith Court.

Down 76-66 with 6:53 remaining in the offensive battle, the Rams closed out the game on a 20-6 run to steal the victory from the Gulls.

Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) exploded for a game-tying/career-high 27 points alongside six assists, three rebounds, and two steals in the loss.

Meanwhile, Stephen Fama (Lynnfield, Mass.), Dillon Grant (Dennis, Mass.), Cameron Ray (Lowell, Mass.), Spencer Aronson (Holliston, Mass.) all touched double-digits with 14, 12, 11, and 11, respectively.

  • Endicott led for 34:16 of the contest, including a 16 point advantage with 15:41 to play.
