Massachusetts State Police Media Release – 08062017 – State Police Arrest Salem Man for Cocaine Trafficking in Boxford

This morning at about 7:50 a.m., State Police arrested a Salem man for trafficking in cocaine on Route 95 northbound in the area of exit 52 in Boxford.

Trooper Michael Traister of the Troop A Community Action Team was monitoring traffic when he observed an Audi A4 traveling at a high rate of speed.  Trooper Traister pulled the vehicle over and, following a subsequent investigation with assistance from Trooper Brad Sullivan, located approximately 21 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine in the possession of the operator.

The operator, JOSUE FIGUEROA, 40, of Salem, was charged with Trafficking in Cocaine and cited for speeding.  He was held on $50,000.00 bail at Middleton House of Correction pending his arraignment in Haverhill District Court tomorrow.
