Salem Farmers Market Today -Week 6 is Something for the Kids (3-7 p.m.)

Salem Farmers Market Thursdays – 3-7pm, Derby Sq.

Something New
Come children (of ALL ages), she said, come gather ’round the cucumbers and kale, and hear a tale.
Salem (MA) Public Library is going to be joining us at the Market for the next few months! Check out the pop up library and 4 pm story hour every Thursday this summer! Location may not be near cukes or kale. We don’t want to scare off the little ones who may still be wary of such things.

MUSIC: Singer/Songwriter Julie Dougherty from 4-7 pm.

Sponsoring this week:
Mazow McCullough PC Personal Injury Attorneys in Salem

Adorable Nonprofit This Week:
PALS animal life savers. That link is for the bravest of souls that believe they can look into the eyes of Jenny and be able to say “not today”. Good luck to all that take that challenge.

Somethings Cookin’
From the Chamber of Commerce comes a cookbook, with a twist.

Local chefs, bakers, bartenders, celebrities, and others have provided the Salem Chamber with their best recipes for inclusion in the cookbook. The recipes are complemented by several Salem stories that are fun to read, including a brief culinary history of Salem, VIP recipes, and some anecdotes and special stories as well.
