Everything You Need to Know About 2022 MIAA Super Bowls

Important ticketholder information for MIAA State Football Championships at Gillette Stadium

FOXBOROUGH – Memories will be made and champions will be crowned when the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) State Football Championships, presented by Cross Insurance, return to Gillette Stadium on Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3, marking the 15th year the home of the New England Patriots and Revolution has hosted football state championship games.

The two-day slate features eight championship games and will provide student-athletes from 16 MIAA high schools and their respective communities with a tournament experience of a lifetime on the home turf of the six-time Super Bowl champion New England Patriots and New England Revolution. After more than 100 playoff football games across the state in a four-week span, 16 teams will compete in one of the most exciting, action-packed weekends of football in New England when they take the Gillette Stadium field for their respective division’s state title. Adding to the excitement of the state championships will be thousands of cheering fans, cheerleaders and school bands. The Kraft family will also treat the participating schools and their fans to an NFL-caliber game presentation with music and replays on the stadium’s high-definition video boards.

As the venue prepares for this championship weekend, Gillette Stadium officials would like to remind fans attending the games of important ticketholder information and policies in place at the stadium.

TICKETING

Tickets for the 2022 MIAA State Football Championships are on sale now via Ticketmaster. No tickets will be sold at the Gillette Stadium Ticket Office. All tickets will be digital and will be accessible via mobile device only. Fans can access and manage mobile tickets via the Gillette Stadium App which is available on the App Store (for iPhone users) and Google Play Store (for Android users). It is recommended that fans add their mobile tickets to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay to beat busy network connections at the game. Additional information on mobile ticketing can be found at gillettestadium.com/tickets/mobile/.

Tickets are $17 for adults and $14 for students/senior citizens. Children 5 years old and younger will receive free admission. The ticket price includes parking, admission to the games and a game day discount of $3 off adult admission at the Patriots Hall of Fame presented by Raytheon Technologies (must show game ticket). Friday’s tickets provide access to all three Friday games and Saturday’s tickets provide access to all five Saturday games. Please note reentry to this event is prohibited but fans are invited to visit Patriot Place before and after the games each day. PARKING

Parking is included as part of the Gillette Stadium and MIAA State Football Championships experience. Stadium lots will open for parking at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Fans arriving via Route 495 and Route 1 North should enter the stadium parking lots via the P7 or P8 entrances. Fans arriving via Route 95 and Route 1 South should enter the stadium parking lots via the P1 entrance. No tailgating will be allowed in the parking lots, but fans are invited to visit Patriot Place before and after the games. Fan buses are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to each game’s approximate start time.

CLEAR BAG POLICYFans attending the games are reminded that bags larger than a small wristlet or handheld wallet will not be allowed inside Gillette Stadium, per the venue’s clear bag policy, which is in effect at all ticketed events. If carrying a bag into the stadium is necessary, there are three options: a clear plastic bag the size of a one-gallon Ziploc bag, a clear plastic vinyl or PVC bag that does not exceed 12” x 12” x 6,” or a small wristlet or handheld wallet not exceeding 6.5” x 4.5”. Please note that bags larger than the permitted size, including purses, shoulder bags and backpacks, will not be allowed inside Gillette Stadium and will not be held or stored by the venue.  STADIUM GATES

Gates will open at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. All fans will enter the stadium via the Ticketmaster Gate in the Enel Plaza, located near the Patriots Hall of Fame presented by Raytheon Technologies. ADA entry is available through the E2 entrance on the east side of the stadium. Please note reentry to this event is prohibited.

STADIUM RENOVATIONS

Construction of the most dramatic Gillette Stadium improvements since its opening in 2002 began in the north end of the stadium this year. As part of these renovations, the main ticket office is closed and a satellite ticket office location will be in a dedicated trailer in Lot 4A directly opposite from the Ticketmaster Gate and Patriots ProShop entrance.

GILLETTE STADIUM NOW CASHLESS

Gillette Stadium is completely cashless. All fan points of sale accept electronic payment only including debit and credit cards, wallet or watch. The venue has deployed cash to card machines throughout the stadium for guests who bring cash, which is converted to a VISA card that can be used at any point of sale inside the stadium and anywhere VISA is accepted.

PATRIOTS FOUNDATION TOY DRIVE

The Patriots Foundation is hosting their annual toy drive to benefit children in need this holiday season. Fans attending the MIAA High School Football Championships are encouraged to bring new and unwrapped toys to drop off at the blue and white collection bins located by the Ticketmaster Gate.

CONCESSIONS AND DINING

Concessions will be available throughout the day at Gillette Stadium. In addition, Patriot Place features 17 casual to high-end restaurants for pregame meals or postgame celebrations. Visit patriot-place.com/MIAAFOOTBALL for a full listing of everything Patriot Place has to offer.

SEATING AREASAll fans will be seated on the east side of the stadium. The home teams will be on the east sideline and its fans will be seated in sections 104-108. The visiting teams will be on the west sideline and its fans will be seated in sections 110-114.

MERCHANDISEMIAA state championship merchandise will be available for purchase near section 105.

POSTGAME AWARDS CEREMONIESThe postgame awards ceremonies for the first two games on Friday and the first four games on Saturday will take place on the main concourse behind section 127. Fans are permitted to walk from the east side of the stadium to watch the awards ceremony. The postgame awards ceremonies for the last game each day will take place on the stadium field.

THE PATRIOTS HALL OF FAME PRESENTED BY RAYTHEON TECHNOLOGIES

The award-winning Patriots Hall of Fame presented by Raytheon Technologies will offer a game day discount of $3 off adult admission on Friday and Saturday with a ticket to the MIAA High School Football Championships (regular admission to The Hall is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for children ages 5-12. Active military and veterans are free with a military I.D. Children 4 and younger are also free). The Hall is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The Hall’s New England Football exhibit features jerseys from each of the 2021 MIAA football champions, and following this year’s state championship games will begin displaying jerseys from each of the 2022 champions.

Kraft Sports + Entertainment will produce the television broadcast, which will air all of Saturday’s games live on WSBK and streamed on Patriots.com and CBSN Boston, WBZ’s free streaming service. Friday’s games will also be streamed on Patriots.com, CBSN Boston and NFHS Network at www.nfhsnetwork.com. Fans can find CBSN Boston on CBSBoston.com, on the CBS Boston app, or on smart TVs via Fire TV, Apple TV, or Roku.

Harrington Trophy North Shore Football Player of the Week

LYNN (Video – Photos) KIPP Academy football defeated Lynn Tech 54-48 in the Thanksgiving eve matchup at Manning Field in Lynn.  KIPP quarterback Juan Setalsingh won this week’s Harrington Trophy North Shore Football Player of the week award for this performance leading his Panthers by throwing 5 touchdown passes to two of the team’s top receivers: Monel Castro (3) and Vic Mafo (2). Setalsignh passed for 413 yards (21-35). In addition, it was Setalsingh who rushed for a 10-yard touchdown for the game winning score on a 4th and goal run. In the video interview below Setalsingh discusses the game winning score and shares updates on other key KIPP players. KIPP will face Hull Saturday morning at Gillette Stadium in the MIAA Division 8 super bowl.
