MIAA D5 Super Bowl: North Reading Beats Shawsheen 44-28, Game Notes – Post Game Videos – Photo Gallery

FOXBOROUGH – North Reading broke a 14-14 halftime tie to explode in second half to win the MIAA Division 5 Super Bowl 44-28 over Shawsheen Tech. North Reading was back in the championship andgame for the second straight year, losing last season to Swampscott. The North Reading offense was led by quarterback Alex Carucci who passed for 141 yards, throwing two touchdowns and he also rushed for 143 yards on 14 carries and scoreing another two rushing touchdowns on the ground. Will Batten rushed for 178 yards and scored two touchdowns. Shawsheen quarterback Sidney Tildsey completed 28 of 41 passes for 303 yards, 1 TD, 1 Interception. Mavrick Bourdeau caught 17 passes for 240 yards for the Rams. Total offensive yards in the game: North Reading 478, Shawsheen 379.
