No Bail for Boyfriend of Slain Woburn Woman

A Lynn man was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing at his arraignment in Lynn District Court this afternoon.

Bruce Maiben, 44, of Lynn, was arraigned on Larceny over $1200, Tampering with Evidence and Obstruction.  The charges arose from the investigation into the death of Sherell Pringle of Woburn.  The facts and circumstances into Ms. Pringles’s death remain under investigation.

Judge William Martin entered a plea of not guilty on the defendant’s behalf.  Essex Assistant District Attorney Jen Capone filed a dangerousness petition and a motion to revoke the defendant’s bail on an open case out of Boston Municipal Court in Dorchester.  Those motions will be heard on Tuesday, December 28th at 2:00 pm.

The defendant was represented by Attorney John Morris and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
