Game played at Fraser Field – opening game of the Spartan Tournament
Marblehead jumped out early and often scoring 3 in the first, 4 in the second and 3 more in the third.
Marblehead added a much needed insurance run in the 7th as Masco battled back from down 11-2 in the 7th to have first and second with 2 outs and the score 11-9.
Junior Will Macrina in his first varsity start went four innings giving up just two in the first inning.
Junior Cam Carneval in his first varsity start had two solid innings but got tired in the 7th.
Lefty Sophomore Yanzel Fuentes came in for the save in the 7th.
Grey Leventhal continues to swing it well with 4 hits on the day.
Marblehead will face the winner of the St. Mary’s / Pope Francis game.
First pitch tomorrow will be at 3 pm at Fraser Field.
The Magicians are now 5-3 overall. (5-2 League)
