Moynihan Lumber Female Student Athlete For The Month of November – Anna Kaneb, Pingree

NORTH SHORE – (Radio Interview For excellence both in the classroom and athletic endeavors, field hockey standout Anna Kaneb of the Pingree School has been named the Female Moynihan Lumber Student-Athletes of the Month for November.

Anna, a junior midfielder at Pingree, was named an Eastern Independent League all-star this fall after scoring five goals and adding seven assists. The Salem News all-star from Manchester-by-the-Sea also plays club field hockey with Cape Ann Coalition and has participated in the National Field Hockey Festival. Anna was also selected for the Under-19 team that represented the Northeast region in the National Futures Championships. A standout on the basketball court and lacrosse field as well, she is being recruited to play Division 1 and 2 field hockey in college. She also excels academically, taking three honors classes and two language courses while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 92.12. She participates in Classical Emnsemble, Model UN and the Math team at Pingree in addition to serving as a peer tutor in Spanish.
