Austin Prep baseball coach Jonathan Pollard, Lowell native and Dracut resident, talks about leading his team to a 25-0 record and a Division 3 state championship. Pollard was a two-time All-MASCAC player for Salem State College under Ken Perrone, who gave Pollard his first crack at coaching baseball. Pollard also talks about the Merrimack Valley connections for Austin Prep baseball.
We recap the great, ongoing run by Andover Little League, which captured the District 14 title with a 6-3 win over North Reading and advances to the Sectionals, otherwise known as the Massachusetts Sweet 16.
