Marblehead Baseball Closing in on Tournament – Top Malden 5-1, now 9-6 on Season – Videos & Photo Gallery

MARBLEHEAD – (Video & Photos) The Marblehead High School baseball team defeated Malden Wednesday afternoon 5-1 to improve to 9-6 on the season. Malden falls to 4-12 on the season. Beau Dana picked up the win going four innings, he was relieved by Max Karass, and James McCarthy pitched to one batter with the bases loaded in the 7th inning to earn the save. McCarthy also went 2-3 at the plate with a triple and Drew Gally also went 2 for 3. Jared Martino hit a solo homerun in the first inning for Malden for the game’s first run.
