Manchester-Essex Boys Basketball Powers Past Tyngsborough 77-36 in MIAA D4 Tournament – Cade Furse with 24-points

MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA (Video – Photos) #5 seeded Manchester-Essex powered past #12 seeded Tyngsborough Tuesday night 77-36 in the MIAA D4 boys basketball tournament. The hornets are now in the elite 8. The game opened with Manchester-Essex standout guard Cade Furse scoring the games first 8-points. Fuse led all scorers with 24-points. Center Eddie Chareas added 14-points for the Hornets. Tyngsborough was led by a 15-point performance by Bryce Goulet even though he drew special defensive attention from the Hornets. One of the keys for the Hornet’s contributing to the win was their pressure defense. Manchester-Essex led by 14-points at the half (32-18) and their largest lead was 40-points late in the fourth quarter (70-30). MIAA D4 Brackets
