Manchester-by-the-Sea: Open Seasonal Parking Enforcement Jobs

The Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea is seeking qualified applicants for Seasonal Parking Enforcement Officers from May 18, 2026, to October 9, 2026 (dates flexible).

The ability to function in a fast-paced environment, as well as the ability to multitask is a must. Candidates must also have the highest integrity, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a basic knowledge of computers. Local knowledge of the Town of Manchester by-the-Sea is a plus, but not required as training will be provided.

The Parking Enforcement Officer will be responsible for enforcing all current parking regulations in the Town of Manchester by-the-Sea using handheld electronic ticketing software (training provided). Typical hours are either 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm. Work schedule is flexible and can be discussed, but must include weekend/holiday coverage, as these are our busiest times.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license. Candidates will also be required to complete and pass a certified American Heart Association C.P.R. class and pass an extensive background investigation.
