Steve Caraway will stop by Beechbrook Studio for a chat and performance on Unfinished music.
Steve is a colorful local New England artist, whose notoriety comes from working with these local bands.Night After Night, Big Trouble, Pirate Radio, Secret Service, Funbucket and Stolen Lions, this makes him a prominent player in the Boston music scene. Caraways’ experience covers the spectrum from live intimate settings to large touring gigs. Caraway is quite comfortable performing on any stage.
Steve released his last CD, “Hurricane Season” on the Indienink Music Label. Caraway was also a featured performer and emcee for the Charlotte Pop Festival, as well as performing on the 2009 IPO Tour in Boston, and New York.
While “Hurricane Season” focused primarily on Power Pop,the self-released “Upon This Rock”, Caraway`s 2014 album has more of a Country flavor, expanding on what was hinted at by “Something New” from the previous release. There`s still plenty of Pop in there as well, as evidenced by the tunes, “Supernova”, “Candy”, and “Justine”.
