SAUGUS – (Radio) Saugus High School this week named Joe Luis as their new head baseball coach 
replacing Steve Freker who recently took over the Malden High School baseball program. Luis graduated from Peabody High School in 1985 and graduated from U-Mass Lowell in 1990. The catcher signed with the Red Sox organization and played for 3 years (1990-1993). Luis has served as an assistant college baseball coach and currently runs Extra Innings in Middleton where he has coached athletes from all around the north shore.
