Friday’s Limited High School Sports Scoreboard

Ipswich Coach Kerri O’Connor:  “Another game in the pouring rain today as Ipswich worked to keep control of the ball with soaking wet stick strings.  Kelsey Daly and Izzy Primack dominated defensively with a total of 7 caused turnovers and 10 ground balls controlled.  Kelsey had various pass deflections and used her speed to transition the ball smoothly and quickly up the field.  And Emily Martineau had an amazing game with 12 quick saves.  Meghan O’Connor controlled the direction of our draws to keep us in our offensive zone and Julia Glavin lead in goals.  All players were able to see time and Lilly Sheridan had a strong goal to end the game with 1 second on the clock after a fast smooth transition from one end zone to the other.”
