Harrington Trophy North Shore Football Player of the Week – Bryce Leaman – Bishop Fenwick

PEABODY (Video – Podcast) Bishop Fenwick quarterback Bryce Leaman led his Crusaders past Bishop Stang last Friday night 42-25 by throwing five touchdown passes and passing for 313 yards. Leaman also plays defense contributing to win from is safety position. Fenwick is now 7-1 and will host Auburn Friday night in the opening round of the MIAA Division Five state playoffs. (Auburn #11 / Bishop Fenwick #6) In the video below Leaman talks about last Friday’s game and credits his teammates in the team’s win.

BEVERLY — The No. 23/24 nationally ranked Endicott football team (8-0, 4-0 CCC) is set to host Salve Regina (5-3, 2-2 CCC) on Saturday, November 5 at 12 PM. Here’s a preview of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest, which will also serve as Senior Day for the Gulls.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Endicott can capture the CCC Championship with a victory on Saturday.
  • The all-time series between Endicott and Salve Regina is tied, 9-9.
  • Defensively, the Gulls have only allowed 4.3 points per game (34 total points) this season, while the Seahawks are yielding 22.3 per contest (178 total).
  • Jack Stack (Campbell Hall, N.Y,) and Clayton Marengi (Lynnfield) rank second and third in the conference with 14 and 12 passing touchdowns, respectively.
  • The Seahawks are 2-2 on the road this season.
