In North Shore sports, girls lacrosse…Danvers beat Gloucester 13-6 yesterday. Addie Moore and Hannah Tersolo each scored 3 goals for the Falcons. The Peabody girls beat Medford 15-10 yesterday and have qualified for the state tournament.
Many local games yesterday were postponed due to the wet field conditions.
The Red Sox lost to the Phillies 3-1 last night. Tonight the Sox open a weekend series in Atlanta against the Braves.
Girls Tennis Ipswich 4 Amesbury 1 (from Gardy O’Flynn)
Ipswich girls improved to 10 -3 with a 4-1 win indoors at Newburyport Racket club verse Amesbury. Ipswich got wins in singles from Sarah Belford 8–0 and Mae Borgman 8-6.
The doubles tandom of Gwen Bowser and Abbie Allen won 8-0 while Leila Harb and Anna Kalinowski won 8-2.
HW Athletic Contests: Week of May 18th
Next week marks the last week of the Regular Season and that can only mean one thing. Championship Season is about to descend on HW.

Track & Field will travel to Pentucket Regional High School on Saturday, May 23rd to compete in the CAL Championships. The meet time is set for 10:00 AM. Ticketing information will follow in the coming days.
