No Shadow – Early Spring
Kanes Donuts – Happy Groundhog Day! According to legend, the groundhog first emerges from hibernation. If it’s a sunny day and the and groundhog sees its shadow, six more weeks of winter are predicted but if not we get an early spring! Either way we are featuring this delicious donut today!
Peabody Mayor Ted Bettencourt – Downtown Peabody Parking Meter Update. The new downtown parking meters are set to go live on Monday, March 4th. Metered parking will be free of charge until that date with meter displays featuring a ‘free parking’ notification.
Town of Danvers – Motor vehicle excise tax bills will be mailed 2/16. Payment is due by 3/18. Questions, contact the Treasurer/Collectors office at 978-777-0001
City of Lynn – Happy Black History Month, Lynn! Black History Month is an opportunity for all to observe and honor the rich history, legacies, heritage, contributions, and cultures of Black Americans in our country and our local communities.
Peabody Institute Library – The Game Group for Seniors will meet at the South Branch Library on Thursday, February 8th from 2-4PM. Bring your own board games and card decks or choose one of ours! Spend the afternoon playing with friends or meeting new people. This program is for attendees ages 55+.
