NORTH SHORE – (Radio) David Sacco has been named Winthrop High School’s boys basketball coach. Sacco is the all-time leading boys basketball scorer at Pope John High in Everett where he graduated in 1994, played football at Plymouth State College, and he was head basketball coach at Pope John. Most recently he was an assistant coach in Melrose and in Saugus. Sacco lives in Saugus. In his interview he shares some of his coaching philosophies, influences, and his goals for the Winthrop boys basketball program.
