Danvers Baseball Advances To MIAA D2 North Championship Game – Eliminates Burlington 6-2 – Justin Roberto Pitches Win

LYNN – (Video & Photos) The Danvers High School baseball team is headed back to the MIAA D2 North Championship game. The Falcons beat Burlington 6-2 at Lynn’s Fraser Field. Right hander Justin Roberto pitched a complete game scattering 10 Burlington hits. Danvers, trailing 1-0 after one inning, scored two runs in the second inning to take a 2-1 lead followed by a four run third inning. Burlington scored their second run in the 6th inning. Eight Danvers players had a hit, Jordan DeDonato delivered a two run single in the 3rd inning. Danvers will take on Gloucester in the MIAA D2 North Title game, date and time to be announced soon.
