LYNN (Video – Photos) The KIPP Academy football team took charge right from the start in today’s game against Lee. The MIAA D8 playoff game was won by KIPP 44-12 with all of their points coming in the first half. Lee fumbled the ball away in their first possession. KIPP recovered the ball on the Lee 18 yard line and two plays later KIPP was in the endzone for the first of seven touchdowns. Juan Setalsingh threw four touchdown passes for 245 yards of passing. Morenel Castro earned 94 receiving yards and rushed for another 57 yards. Vic Mafo scored 3 touchdowns.
