SALEM, MA – Mayor Dominick Pangallo and the City of Salem, in partnership with Waste Management (the city’s solid waste and recycling service provider), are excited to announce this year’s scholarship program. This program will award 1-3 scholarships of $9000 to Salem residents who are pursuing undergraduate or graduate level studies, with preference given to fields promoting environmental sustainability. The theme is For a More Sustainable Tomorrow.
Applications are due by June 1, 2026 and should be sent via email to Alisa Cherkasova at acherkasova@salem.com. The application form is available on the City of Salem’s website.
