City of Gloucester Announces COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic For Children Ages 5 to 17

GLOUCESTER – Mayor Greg Verga is pleased to share that the Gloucester Health Department is collaborating with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to offer a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for those ages 5 to 17 on Saturday.

WHEN:

Saturday, Jan. 22, from 1 to 6 p.m.

WHERE:

Gloucester High School Field House, 32 Leslie O Johnson Road, Gloucester.

WHAT:

Through a collaboration between the City of Gloucester Health Department and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, a vaccine clinic will provide first and second doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to those ages 5-17, and first, second, or booster doses to those ages 12-17.
Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is recommended. To register in advance, click here.
Vaccines are free. Insurance is not required. Attendees will be required to wear masks and maintain physical distance, in accordance with current Massachusetts guidelines regarding clinics.
The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has been authorized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration for those ages 5 and older. The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is a two-dose regimen, with three weeks between first and second doses. To learn more about the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, please click here.
