LYNN – (Video & Photos) The Lynn English Bulldogs topped Beverly 72-69 Tuesday night at Lynn English High School. English finishes the regular season at 12-7 and they are headed to the MIAA Division 1 tournament. Beverly ends the regular season at 15-7 and the Panthers have qualified for the MIAA Division 2 tournament. Beverly’s Sam Traicoff led all scorers with 29 points, 20 coming in the first half. Abe Diaz lead English with 18 points, teammate Tommy Rijo chipped in 14. Tournament pairings may be announced on Friday.
