LYNNFIELD – The #4-seeded Lynnfield Pioneers (11-9-1) were in a fight for their D3 playoff lives Wednesday when they eeked out a 4-3 overtime win over #29-seeded Norton (11-9-1). Coach Jon Garnder praised the team for not getting down when they outshot the visitors 27-3 through 2 periods and trailed on the scoreboard.
West Springfield (13-8-0), the number 20 seed, is Saturday’s opponent with a noon face-off scheduled at the McVann in Peaobdy. Link for Tickets
