IPSWICH – Starting her 4th season as Ipswich High School girls’ lacrosse coach, Allison Tivnan has the Tigers off to a fast 2-0 start with wins over Beverly and Manchester-Essex last week.  Runners-up in the D4 MIAA State Championship in 2023, the Tigers lost a number of veterans, but return a solid nucleus of leaders.

Coach Tivnan following Friday’s win over M-E:  Ipswich had an awesome full team win against Manchester-Essex. The Tigers won 6-4 and were led offensively by Ella Stein (2 goals), Jayne Krause (2 goals), Allie Wile and Estelle Gromko. Halle Greenleaf, Lucy Winthrop and Ella Stein were awesome on the draw. Defensively the Tigers were led by Emma Paquette in goal with 5 saves and 3 ground balls and Lucy Donahue with 6 caused turnovers. A great win for the Tigers!
