SALEM – Salem News Executive Sports Editor Phil Stacey, and Assistant Executive Matt Williams must have logged thousands of miles covering North Shore high school and college sports this winter. As we transition into spring sports, Phil, in the interview below, highlights some of the challenges, fun, and results of the regular-season coverage, as well as the post-season events that took place (with, of course, an emphasis on the State Champion Salem High School Boy’s Basketball team).
And, he previews the upcoming spring sports season with a long list of the names of some the areas top student-athletes returning to the sports venues.
