Dominick Pangallo – Spent some time today talking with voters in the Pickman Park neighborhood of #SalemMA. Thoughtful discussions and questions about the South Campus and offshore wind terminal projects, speeding on Loring Avenue, and adding electric bikes to the City’s @RideBluebikes
program.
Neil Harrington – It was an honor to attend the 100th Anniversary Celebration Brunch for the Salem chapter of the Sons and Daughters of Italy today at the Hawthorne Hotel. It was great to see so many familiar faces and to hear stories of the old neighborhood.

City of Newburyport – Mayor Sean Readon’s Weekly Update – In this episode of the Mayor’s Corner, Mayor Reardon begins by thanking everyone involved in the Earth Day celebrations! Spring is alive and parklets are starting to be set up on Pleasant Street and then on State Street. We are in the midst of the budget season. The Schools budget was approved by the School Committee on Tuesday night and they will hold a follow-up discussion on changes to the budget at a special School Committee Business Meeting at the Senior/Community Center tonight. The full budget will be submitted to the City Council on May 8th. There was a site visit to Plum Island on Monday afternoon. (Much more)
