WINTHROP – Winthrop High School girls’ hockey coach Anthony Martucci heaped praise on the defensive efforts of the Vikings (20-0-0) after their 2-1 overtime win against Whitman-Hanson (10-7-1) in round 2 of the MIAA D1 Girls’ Hockey Tournament.
