FOXBOROUGH – Hull scored on their first four possessions to take a 27-0 lead creating a large hurdle for the KIPP Panthers to overcome in Saturday’s MIAA Division 8 Super Bowl. With less than two minutes left in the first half Hull had a 27-0 lead. The lone KIPP score came on a 15 pass from Juan Setalsignh to Morenel Castro with 12 seconds remaining in the first half.
KIPP shutdown the Hull offense in the second half however neither team added any scoring in the second half.
Hull was led by running back John Gianibas who rushed for 188 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. KIPP quarterback Juan Setalsignh passed for 222 yards, 17-38, with one touchdown. KIPP’s Vic Mafo led the Panthers in pass receiving with 6 catches for 97 yards.
