D3BASEBALL.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott sophomore catcher John Mulready (Peabody, Mass.) has been selected to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week, as announced by the organization yesterday.
The Team of the Week is d3baseball.com’s weekly honor roll, which is in its 10th season of recognizing the top performers at all nine positions across NCAA Division III baseball from the previous week. Student-athletes are selected from nominations from their school’s sports information directors (SIDs). This is the eighth Team of the Week of the 2022 season.
Last week for the Gulls (3/28-4/2), Mulready slashed .583/.583/1.583 in three games.
He was 7-for-12 with four home runs, six RBI, and four runs scored.
Defensively, Mulready was perfect in the field (38 putouts, 1 assist) and caught his only would-be base stealer.
This is Mulready’s first career weekly honor of any kind.
