BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott softball team opens up its 2022 season on Sunday, March 13 in Florida against Plattsburgh (12:15 PM) and Wisconsin-La Crosse (2:30 PM). Here’s a preview of the upcoming season.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Gulls were picked first in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
- Endicott enters this year’s campaign as the two-time defending CCC Champion.
- CCC All-Conference honorees Maria Hanchuk (South Windsor, Conn.), Carly Marchitto (Orange, Conn.), Lauren Misiaszek (Londonderry, N.H.), Keelin Spencer (San Jose, Calif.), and Katie Watts (Swampscott, Mass.) return to the fold in 2022.
- Head Coach Katie Bettencourt has compiled an 83-17 overall record since her first season in 2018. During that span, the Gulls have averaged nearly 28 wins a season.
- The Blue and Green will look to capture their league-leading 13th CCC Championship this spring.
