WINTHROP – (Video & Photos) The Winthrop High School football team held their photo day today at their new high school gym. The Vikings open the 2016 season Friday night in Danvers in a msonewsports.com broadcast game (7 p.m.) Winthrop topped Malden last night 8-6 in a scrimmage match-up in Malden. Winthrop will be playing their home games in East Boston this season.
