Endicott College Volleyball – The Endicott women’s volleyball team swept Wentworth 3-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play to improve to remain undefeated in CCC play at 7-0, while improving to 16-7 overall. The loss drops the Leopards to 13-9 overall and 5-2 in league play.
Highlighting the win was the career accomplishment of graduate student Amanda Gilbert (West Falmouth), who collected her 1,000th career kill early in the first set. The outside would end the match with a team-leading eight kills and six digs in the sweep.
Salem State Men’s Soccer – Gabriel DaSilva (Woburn) produced two goals and Brendan Davis (Dracut) added a score for Salem State in the Vikings’ 3-1 MASCAC win over MCLA at Shewcraft Field on Friday evening. Salem State raises their record to 10-4-2 and 4-1-1 in the conference. The Trailblazers slide to 5-8-1 and 2-3-1.
