HARTFORD, Conn. – The Endicott men’s soccer team traveled to Trinity College (Conn.) and came away with a 2-1 victory.
Victor DaCosta (Rehoboth, Mass.) got the scoring started for the Gulls at the 35:29 mark with the help of Diego Maillo (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.).
Just 34 seconds into the second half, Bobby Ivatts (Walpole, Mass.) took a throw-in down the line and Ryan Cohane (Easton, Conn.) headed the ball into the left-hand side of the net to give Endicott the 2-0 lead.
Trinity responded in the 79th minute with a goal from Cody Savonen (Orleans, Mass.) to keep the Gulls from earning a shutout.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
Endicott freshman goaltender, Camden Stockdale (Durham, Conn.) made his collegiate debut in net for the Gulls. He recorded nine saves.
The Gulls were paced offensively by Jesse Martinez (Walpole, Mass.), who had six shots.
FOR THE FOES
Trinity goalie, Mateo Zabala (Medellin, Colombia) made six saves and is now 1-4 on the season.
The Bantams were led offensively by Scott Brazina (Concord, Mass.) who registered four shots.
Trinity held the slight 16-14 shot advantage.

Endicott (4-1-1; 1-0-0 CCC) travels to Roger Williams for a conference matchup on Saturday, September 23 at 12 p.m. Trinity (1-4-0; 0-3-0 NESCAC) is at Colby College on Saturday, September 23 for a 1:30 p.m.
