Interactive Beach Water Quality Dashboard

MA Dept of Health Interactive Beaches Dashboard provides water quality testing results for the current beach season. It will tell you which beaches are open or closed. If a beach is closed, do not swim or enter the water at that location to avoid risk of illness.

The dashboard is updated at 9:30am and 12:30pm every day (including weekends) during the beach season.

Gloucester, MA Health Department

Free COVID tests are now available at the Health Department! Stop by the second floor of the City Hall Annex at 3 Pond Road to pick them up.

If you have symptoms of a respiratory virus, such as a fever, sore throat, cough or a runny or stuffy nose you should test for COVID. Regardless of testing positive or not, you should stay home and stay away from others in your household until your symptoms abate and you have been fever free for 24 hours. For the first five days after you return to normal activities try to stay away from crowded areas or people who have weakened immune systems such as the elderly, those who are sick, or young children. Remember, if your symptoms are worsening, seek medical attention immediately.
